Bloomington, IL: It’s your turn to Run for Congo Women

First Annual 5k Run/Walk for Congo Women: Bloomington

In 2005, Lisa Shannon founded Run for Congo Women, an event that would grow into a movement and help thousands of Congolese women rebuild their lives.  Five years later, there are Run for Congo Women events throughout the U.S. and in four countries.  This year, women in the Congo even held their first ever run.

Join Illinois supporters at White Oak Park on April 24 to run or walk 5k and help these beautiful women in Congo rebuild their lives and their communities.
