Women, War & Peace on PBS

Women for Women International encourages supporters to tune in for a new PBS series called Women, War & Peace (link tohttp://www.pbs.org/wnet/women-war-and-peace/), which will air on Tuesday nights from October 11 through November 8.
Stories from two of the countries in which we work – Afghanistan and Bosnia and Herzegovina – will be featured in the series, which will be narrated by celebrities including Matt Damon and Geena Davis. The final episode on November 8 includes a series of interviews with noted thought leaders on the topic of women and war, including Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and WfWI Founder Zainab Salbi.
Please tune in! And if you’re interested in making a difference WHILE you watch, consider hosting a dinner party for your friends to gather and watch an episode. You can download our dinner party toolkit here (link to http://www.womenforwomen.org/help-women/help-women-organize-an-event.php).
