Village Yoga First Anniversary Event Benefited WfWI

Village Yoga, in Seattle WA, celebrated its first anniversary by hosting an all-levels community class with all proceeds and donations benefiting Women for Women International. WfWI volunteers presented an overview of the organization and talked about their personal experiences as sponsors. Attendees were entered into a drawing for prizes that included yoga classes, a handmade shawl, and handmade jewelry from Rwanda. The event was a joyful celebration of both the studio’s anniversary and the opportunity to help our sisters around the world. The studio owners, Judy McEvoy and Lisa Broesamle, pledged to mark every anniversary with a benefit for Women for Women International!

WfWI would like to thank Village Yoga, Seattle Volunteer Ambassador Deborah Bassett and Volunteer Jayne Ash for their support through this event, which raised over $300 for our programs!
